Meet Our Founder
With a career spanning over 32 years in the stone industry, Louwrens Mulder has been an innovator in various sectors both in South Africa and the United States of America. From designing the first Hydraulic Reset Agricultural Ripper for the farming industry to developing Knocked Down Scraper Scoops, Rail Carts, and Mechanical Roof support systems for South Africa’s Gold and Platinum underground mines, Mulder’s inventions have consistently been geared towards efficiency and practicality. In 2011, he developed the Tomahawk Stone Splitter, which was introduced to stone companies in the USA through BB Industries. Today, this tool is still used by many stone companies, a testament to the durability and efficacy of Mulder’s designs.
